How to give

Class Champions

Contact your class champions before you give. The '97 batch alumni have to identify batch champions each in the US and India:

Champion In India: Prof. Anandaroop Bhattacharya (email - anandaroop@mech.iitkgp.ernet.in

 In USA:

The champions will (i) guide their fellow batchmates to transfer money into IIT Foundation or AAIR Office India as appropriate, and (ii) interface with IIT Foundation and AAIR Office to help track the money, and ensure that it is transferred to IITKGP for the targeted project(s). They will also ensure that the targeted budget is achieved. Once the funds have reached IITKGP and budget has been met, presented and approved by “Alumni Endowment Fund Committee, IIT KGP”. IITKGP will take up the execution of the project following usual rules for works/ procurement. Alumni champions (and others as designated by the group) will be invited to review the progress of the projects, and periodic account statement will be shared.
